I dunno about all of you but this fall weather is getting me excited about the holidays. Oh wait it's January 19th! Maybe it's because my whole life we have have 4 months at least of snow and this this year we have had 3 extremely small snow storms, but I'm just in a funk. I love snow storms, being able to cuddle up and drink my hot chocolate. Not having snow has thrown me all off and I keep waiting for everything to be right in the world again.
52 degrees with rain not okay for January 19th I'm just saying!

Our little tradition we do each year on New Years Eve is to go to the most delicious place on earth {the melting pot}. It did not disappoint! But we were so stuffed we barely stayed awake til midnight for a little new years kiss and some firework produced by EVE. I will be copying my aunt kimberli and {trying} to do a photo a day with a small caption so I don't completely suck at blogging this year. Wish me luck!

We had a gas leak in our apartment one day and had to get the dogs out so they got to spend the afternoon at work with me, Lilly LOVED it.

Justin had some time off for Spring Break this year so I took a couple days off to spend time with my ever so BUSY husband, we ran down to visit his parents and well lets just say the not so friendly dog Trace decided to attack when Justin thought it would be funny to scare him. Guess Trace got the last laugh.

When you are home alone ALL the time you find ways to entertain yourself, I must say Hank sure makes a SUPER cute girl dog. HA

Every year Justin's family gets together on Thanksgiving night to decorate gingerbread houses, I have been told that it all started with the small generic store bought gingerbread houses. Since then it has evolved in monsterous wood built houses covered in candy. Last year we did the store bought house, this year we did a wood built and this is how it turned out!

{VACATION}

Justin only has a week off in between spring and summer semester so being the awesome wife that i am i made the sacrifice of taking a week off so i could spend time with him and hank! we have had a very eventful week, we went to ikea and bought a bed, went to the living planet aquarium (again, because its so fun), the zoo, to see iron man 2, and just hung around! we have photos from all these fun events but i dont want to over due the blogging, so stay tuned for the lukes fun filled week!

So in order for Hank to live with us we had to find somewhere that allowed dogs...since the student housing doesnt allow it and sneaking him in and out (really hard to do with a brand new puppy... who goes potty a lot!!) was a huge pain in the butt, we moved! i love our new home so much and its right down town so we can walk to just about anywhere you wanna go!! we will miss our first home, just not the painted make believe carpet and cinderblock walls! ha

For valentines day i received the greatest gift i have ever gotten from my amazing husband!! i was very puppy hungry and been wanting a buddy to hang out with me while Justin was in class and at the library late at night! a couple of Saturdays while i was at work i kept asking Justin what he was up to that day and he was being kinda secretive but i just let it go and thought my he was telling the truth that he was infact cleaning the car and at the gym, since those are his normal Saturday's while i am working. then it was time for me to go home from work, Justin had the car so he came and got me. i sat down and some little brown furball was bouncing around in the back seat!!! i almost cried i was so excited!!! so now that we have owned him for 4 months and have been told i am a horrible mother for not posting pictures of him here ya go!! we love him so freakin much!!!Me with my cute little man, this was the day we got him... he was and is still super little!! not so much a fan of the cuddling tho, kinda really depressing!!

we spent our friday night looking at all the wonderful things at our STATE FAIR!!!!

first we started out with the goats!!! my favorite was the kids.... for those who dont speak farm thats a baby goat!!! these two just kept raming their heads together it sure was cute!!!

and low and behold look who we found at the farm!!!! BERKLEE....just so everyone is aware she does not play with the goats she WORKS with the goats!!

this was justins favorite animal at the fair!!! i must admit it was pretty dang cool looking!!!

what i learned at the fair!!!.... the diffence between a dairy cow and a beef cow is...?!!

the day has finally come.... jenessa is off at school! i just am gone miss this face!!!!

this is how our weekend started... with scamper just chillin on our couch {illegally so shhh dont tell on us!!!}

then sunday morning while i was hurrying to get ready to bring scamper home so he didnt die of boredom in our tiny home... but justin didnt think i was going fast enough i guess because he came busting in the bathroom with blood oozing from his finger and said we had to go now!!!

this is justin really happy not sure why cuz no drugs were given to him....

then the doctors were taking to long so justin thought if he played dead they would hurry it up a little!!!

this is the second time while doing dishes that justin has cut himself!!! the first time was not deep enough for stitches somehow i think this is all intentional as to get out of doing dishes... but until both arms are missing dishes are his designated job!!!

so we dont have any of our wedded pictures yet... just because they havent been touch up and what not... ya know makin them look good!! so since we just got back from the BAHAMAS i can share those oh so fun pictures with you!!! there is a lot so if you get bored then oh well... cuz it was an awesome trip and it was well worth it!!!

justin has this problem where no matter what he always is getting hurt!!! this was the very first night of our trip when we were swimming in the pool at the hotel in florida!! he just wanted to have an awesome big ol' red sore right in the middle of his face for all our pictures!!!

our boat .... we couldnt go to our room until 2 so we had to just chill on the boat til then...

being at the airport from 9:30 until 3:00 is pretty dang boring and made the longest day of our lives!!!! but over all the best honeymoon ever!!!!
